BLACK HISTORY MINI DOCS AT THE ACADEMY MUSEUM OF MOTION PICTURES 

In February 2024, Black History Mini Docs was featured with a special presentation at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in honor of Black History Month. The AMMP is the official museum of the Oscars, which is having its annual ceremony this year on March 10 in Los Angeles. Since 2013, BHMD has been delivering a multitude of mini docs along with thousands of our historical postings featuring tribute art, photographs, biographies and podcast throughout multiple social media platforms. In celebration of Black History Month, the exhibition allowed visitors to explore quick and entertaining videos built to educate viewers about the contributions of Black people in American history, created by legendary producer-director Neema Barnette and filmmaker Reed R. McCants.
